This picture was taken the moment my first child was put on my chest; my first look into her tiny, beautiful eyes. I was exactly 42 weeks to the day when I gave birth to her. It was a long, hard labor. I had a mirror to watch the delivery, and I can still remember watching the midwife cut an episiotomy... our bodies are unbelievable, and in the end it is worth every ounce of pain. When I look at this picture I can remember that very moment, feeling her warmth against my skin, overwhelmed with the instant love I felt for her. I never knew that it was posible to love someone so much until this day... it is a day that I will never forget.
Mommy and Madison... she looks three months old!

My first "look" at my beautiful girl! My labor lasted 23 hours, once my water broke I went from 5cm to complete in about 10 intense minutes... I pushed her out in 2 pushes (she was a little "blue" from the fast delivery)!
The first thing Hannah did when she came out was go to the breast. I was shocked (I had a lot of trouble feeding Madison). Look at her little fingers laced together!
Mommy and Hannah... I called her my "angel baby" (we tried to get pregnant for 2 years)!

2 weeks before giving birth
This was my only pregnancy in the summer and I loved it! I only gained 18 pounds, and I felt my best with this pregnancy. I missed being pregnant after giving birth... I actually grieved because I knew this was going to be my last baby!
Getting ready to push... I gave in at 7cm and went for the epidural... as you can see I am not feeling much pain. I was actually disappointed after birth; I wanted to do it without the epidural!

My first look at my son... I could not believe we had a boy! He was so beautiful and tiny... our smallest baby.
These moments are truly the most special moments of my life. Each birth was unique, and special... not every one of my births went "exactly as planned", but in the end I have wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for letting me share these moments.
